PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — It all comes down to money. Financial issues are the main focus as South Dakota lawmakers begin the final full week of this year’s legislative session. The appropriations committee is putting the finishing touches on the budget. Revenues are improving, but it’s still tight. Appropriations committee co-chair, Rep. Mike Derby of Rapid City, says the committee should complete its work by Tuesday.
