SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls City Council members say they need more time to determine spending limits for a trio of swimming pool projects. Tuesday night, the Council decided to delay authorizing spending amounts for the projects. They want to set a cap of 68-million dollars for the Frank Olson, Kuehn Park and West Side Recreation Center projects. City Finance Director Shawn Prichett advised against the cap, because total costs won’t be known until the city receives bids, and if the total exceeds the cap the bids may have to be rejected.
