Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — It’s an opportunity that could lead to a career in public service. The city of Sioux Falls has opened applications for the 2026 Ascend Internship Program. Brooke Aden entered the program in 2022 and is now the Parks and Recreation Digital Content Coordinator. A key feature of her internship was helping to paint the future of the newly opened Jacobson Plaza. There are a dozen different paid internships being offered.
