North Dakota (KELO.com) — More legal challenges for a regional carbon dioxide pipeline project that failed to win routing permits in South Dakota last year. Now, a North Dakota court has declared a law clearing the way for underground carbon dioxide storage to be unconstitutional. Summit Carbon Solutions acquired a permit for the project and had received approval from 92 percent of landowners in the area last year. Summit and the North Dakota Attorney General are expected to appeal.
