Sioux Falls City Councilors are certain to like the airport loan proposal offered by Governor Rhoden. Winning state support for an ongoing airport expansion project is among the top legislative priorities adopted by the council last night. They’re also hoping to see approval of new programming for prison inmates to help them change the direction of their lives. Another priority is property tax relief for homeowners that qualify. Also, the council would like funding for the Dakota Mainstem Water project to increase water resources for the city and surrounding region.
