Korry Petterson will keep his post as the chairman of the Minnehaha County Republican party

The Chairman of the Minnehaha County Republican party will keep his post. There was an effort to remove Korry Petterson, but the state party’s executive board ruled Monday’s vote to remove him was invalid. The state’s GOP chair says bylaws don’t allow county members to remove elected officials without a state-level amendment.
