Sioux Falls, SD (KELO.com) — One person is dead and another suffered non-life-threatening-injuries in an early morning shooting in Sioux falls. The incident happened at about five this morning in an apartment complex near 43rd and Marion Road. The same apartment complex was the location of two other homicides in April of this year when the victims died of stab wounds. Police had to close the busy 41st Street and Marion Road intersection for several hours because of the shooting. The suspect was barricaded in an apartment with a weapon but finally surrendered at about 8:30 this morning. This is the 11th homicide in the city this year.
