Pierre, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota is in line to receive its share of 50-billion dollars to improve rural health care. Governor Larry Rhoden addressed Sanford Health’s Summit on the Future of Rural Health Care in Sioux Falls. The money is part of the so-called “Big Beautiful Bill. It will come over a five-year period and is intended to shore up rural hospitals following reforms to Medicaid.
