Bike trail extension to open near Lien Park in a few weeks

The Big Sioux River Corridor bike trail project near Lien Park in Sioux Falls will open in a few weeks. City Parks Development Manager Mike Patten says the 2.6-million-dollar project extends the bike trail from Lien Park to Bahnson Avenue. The new section includes an elevated boardwalk – the first of its kind in the city. The project expands the city’s Recreation Trail to more than 43 miles.
