Washington D.C. (KELO.com) — Day seven of the federal government shutdown, and still no signs it will end anytime soon. Senate Majority Leader John Thune remains consistent with his message. Senator Thune told Larry Kudlow on Fox News Republicans will negotiate on healthcare premium tax credits with Democrats, but not until after Democrats vote to end the shutdown. Thune says Republicans want affordable health care for Americans but will stand against paying for coverage for able-bodied citizens and illegal aliens.
