Lieutenant Governor, Tony Venhuizen, is confident the new South Dakota men’s prison will be approved

Pierre, SD (KELO.com) — Lieutenant Governor, Tony Venhuizen, has been instrumental in the effort to win approval of the prison plan. He chaired the Project Prison Reset Task force, which selected a new sight and capped the cost of the proposed facility at 650-million dollars. Venhuizen says he’s optimistic about winning approval for the prison next week. Venhuizen will also lead a Correctional Rehab Task Force announced by Governor Rhoden earlier this week.
