The State Board of Economic Development back two huge business projects in SD

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The state board of Economic Development is backing two business projects to the tune of nearly 13-million dollars.  Bel Brands of Brookings was approved for a loan of up to ten million dollars to double its production capacity.  Grant Solar was approved for 2.7-million dollars in Reinvestment Payment Program money for a solar facility in McCook County. Officials say the projects will bring a total investment of nearly 400-million dollars and create 163 new jobs.
