The emerald ash borer is still a problem for South Dakota foresters

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota foresters have been fighting the emerald ash borer for seven years, and still the problem spreads.  Sioux Falls crews say they’re seeing more activity on private property, where about 40-thousand ash trees remain.  They say homeowners need to increase treatment plans and efforts to remove trees that won’t survive.
