A number of South Dakota State Troopers have the latest tech for high-speed chases installed in their cruisers. StarChase is a GPS tracker that launches from the front of a patrol car and sticks to a fleeing vehicle. It allows troopers to back off when a chase becomes too dangerous and still keep tabs on the suspect’s vehicle.
