Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue investigating an apartment fire

Sioux Falls Fire and Rescue is investigating a late-afternoon apartment fire on the city’s southwest side.
Crews found heavy smoke in a 3rd floor hallway of an apartment on Valhalla Boulevard when they arrived at about 4 yesterday afternoon.
They extinguished the blaze within ten minutes.
There were no injuries.
