South Dakota Public Broadcasting to lay off 15 staff members

South Dakota Public Broadcasting is taking the tough action of releasing some staff members to deal with federal budget cuts.
15 staff members will be laid off at the end of October.
But, thanks to the fundraising efforts of Friends of Public Broadcasting, Overgaard says the cuts may not be permanent…
SDPB now has 400 new donors…including one family that give 100-thousand dollars.
