PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — He calls it a deliberate decision to override legislative intent…and says South Dakota’s poor are paying the price.  State Representative Erik Muckey is upset about last week’s decision to cut Temporary Assistance for Needy Families by ten percent.  He says in light of the 63-million-dollar budget surplus revealed earlier this month; there’s no fiscal crisis or emergency making the cuts necessary.
