SIOUX FALLS, D (KELO.com) — Minnesota Governor Tim Walz crossed the border Saturday night to sling a few jabs at South Dakota’s former and current governors. Walz was on the losing ticket with presidential nominee Kamala Harris in November. He delivered the key note speech to about a thousand people at the state party’s McGovern Day dinner.
He criticized former Governor Kristi Noem as the antithesis of the South Dakota he knows. Walz also prodded current Governor Larry Rhoden’s consistent message of South Dakota being the free-est state in the nation, pointing to the state’s ban on abortions.
