Explosive device found at a local golf course near Des Moines, IA

Des Moines Police dispatched to Golf Course to investigate an IED

DES MOINES, IA (KELO.com) — Des Moines officials are investigating an improvised explosive device that was found at a local golf course.  A golfer found the IED yesterday.  It was detonated by the Des Moines Bomb Squad.  No one was injured and authorities say there aren’t any other known threats in the area.
