SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls may be moving closer to hosting a proposed new men’s prison as other communities reject the idea in their areas. State Representative Greg Jamison led City Council members on a tour of potential sites in the city this week. They agree the site near the current penitentiary is too cramped, but two other sites on the city’s north side are getting some attention. Jamison is a member of the prison task force charged with finding a location. The task force is set to hold its final meeting next week in Sioux Falls.
