The man accused of killing Moody County Chief Deputy Sherriff Ken Prorok had a long history of violence

FLANDREAU, SD (KELO.com) — Prosecutors want jurors to hear about the violent history of the man accused of killing Moody County Chief Deputy Sheriff Ken Prorok last year.  Joseph Hoek is accused of intentionally running over Prorok while eluding police in a high speed chase.  Hoek had a long history of violence and threats before that happened and made repeated death threats.
