LOS ANGELES, CA (KELO.com) — She calls it political theater. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s news conference was interrupted by California Senator Alex Padilla, who says he was trying to get information on Immigration enforcement actions. Padilla was escorted out of the room by security. Afterward, Noem appeared on Fox News with Martha Maccallam.
Secretary Noem says she had a 15-minute conversation with Senator Padilla after the incident, which she says went well.
