Federal budget cuts trim Feeding South Dakota budget, outreach

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Feeding South Dakota is feeling the pain of federal budget cuts.  A sudden drop in USDA support has slashed the agency’s food inventory by 14 percent.  That’s a two-and-a-half million dollar hit, or in other terms, one and a quarter million meals.
