2024 best year for South Dakota pheasant hunters in over a decade

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — 2024 was a banner year for South Dakota pheasant hunters.  They harvested over 1.3-million birds – the highest in 13 years.  That’s an average of nine birds per hunter during the season.
