PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — State sales tax revenues are falling short as the end of the budget year approaches. A slow economy and a recent sales tax cut are pulling revenues lower. Members of a governor-appointed panel are concerned that President Trump’s push for tariffs could slow spending even more. Sales tax collections are three million dollars below budget projections with two months to go in the state fiscal year.
