WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — All eyes are now on the U-S Senate after this week’s House passage of the “big, beautiful reconciliation bill.” The House action was a mixed bag for opponents of carbon capture pipelines. They wanted the bill to be stripped of the tax credit that drives the pipeline effort…but were unsuccessful. But, Spink County landowner Ed Fischbach says they scored a victory on another important issue.
Fischbach says his group will focus now on persuading Senator John Thune and members of the Senate to remove the tax credit and other provisions.
