22-year old Sioux Falls man accused of murder in mother’s shooting death

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A 22-year old Sioux Falls man is charged with murder in the shooting death of his mother early Monday morning.  Nathaniel Borchert was arrested a short time after police arrived at the home in the 11-hundred block of North Minnesota Avenue.  Police Lieutenant Aaron Nyberg describes what they found.

The victim is the suspect’s mother, 48-year old Jamie Lynn Borchert.  Other family members were in the home when police arrived.
