SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — Sioux Falls parks & rec officials are riding high on the early performance results of the new Westside Recreation Center. The city purchased the facility from Sanford Health and began operations at the beginning of the year. With an average of Seven-hundred people using the facility every day, Recreation Manager Brett Kollars says the center is exceeding expectations.
The Rec Center faces several major construction projects in coming months, as crews will replace the parking lot, the roof and build a new Indoor Playground.
