SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The summer heat is arriving a bit early, and that means the lawn watering season is here. Sioux Falls City officials say they aren’t initiating any special restrictions now, but Darin Freese of the Public Works Department is reminding residents there are standard procedures you need to follow.
Freese says watering is prohibited between noon and five because most of the water applied at that time of day is lost to evaporation.
