Flags at half-staff in honor of National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Flags will fly at half-staff across South Dakota Wednesday in honor of National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day.  Governor Rhoden ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff to recognize the sacrifices of law enforcement officers.  There will also be a wreath-laying ceremony at Capitol Lake in Pierre.
