OMAHA, NE (KELO.com) — The American consumer has been battered by high inflation for several years, and now there are signs it may be returning. Creighton University Economist Dr. Ernie Goss says prices are moving higher, thanks in part to tariffs placed on foreign goods by the Trump Administration.
Despite the inflationary pressures, many observers say the tariffs are needed to restore balance in international trade, especially with China.
