PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — State Senator David Wheeler of Huron is becoming Circuit Judge Wheeler. Governor Larry Rhoden announced his appointment of Wheeler to the bench, who was serving his third term in the Senate prior to his resignation. His appointment vacates the District 22 Senate Seat. Governor Rhoden will consider nominations to fill that seat in coming days.
