PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — The first poll on South Dakota’s 2026 Governor’s race shows Dusty Johnson and Larry Rhoden leading the pack. The Poll was released Monday morning by South Dakota News Watch. Congressman Johnson comes in with 28-percent support, but Governor Rhoden is right there at 27-percent. Attorney General Marty Jackley wins 18-percent support in the poll, with Aberdeen Businessman Toby Doeden at 4-percent and State House Speaker Jon Hansen at 2-percent. Hansen officially entered the race, announcing his formal candidacy last week.
