SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A familiar name has become the first to official toss his hat into the ring for the 2026 Sioux Falls Mayoral Race. David Zokaites will try again – after at least two unsuccessful mayoral candidacies and one city council run that came up short. He appears frequently in City Council meetings, having addressed the council about 200 times. He positions himself as a watchdog for transparency and constitutional rights.
