
SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — U-S Attorney Alison Ramsdell calls it one of the largest methamphetamine conspiracies in South Dakota history. 45-year old Christopher Spider of Crow Creek, South Dakota and Lance Brunsting of Colorado were convicted of conspiracy to distribute hundreds of pounds of meth during a trial in Sioux Falls. They face ten years to life in prison and a fine of up to ten-million dollars on the charges. Spider was also convicted of witness tampering, which could add 20 years and 250-thousand dollars to his penalty.
