WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — FBI personnel are about to make a major push against violent crimes involving Native American victims. The agency is activating a surge of extra personnel to investigate and prosecute cases – including crimes related to missing and murdered indigenous people. The effort is called “Operation Not Forgotten”. It’s intended to reduce violent crimes affecting Native American communities.
