Attorney General Marty Jackley
SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) โ Attorney General Marty Jackley is in the win column in a battle with the NC-Double-A over a Name-Image-and-Likeness settlement. The state has sued the NCAA, saying its proposed 2.8-billion dollar settlement and larger colleges is unfair to smaller D-1 schools. Jackley wants that suit to be heard in state court, and now federal judge Karen Schreier has agreed to that request. The Attorney General says the proposed settlement forces smaller schools to bear an unfair share of the settlement cost.
