OMAHA, NE (KELO.com) — Our regional economy turned in its best performance in nearly three years last month. Creighton University’s Mid-America Business Conditions Index plummeted a month ago, but jumped this month. Creighton economist Dr. Ernie Goss says tariff talk is producing some big swings in the economy.
South Dakota had the second highest reading in the nine-state region even though exports dropped from a year ago. Goss expects the volatility to continue through the rest of the year.
