Ballot measure campaigns rack up huge financial tallies

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — What’s the price of campaigns for ballot measures?  In South Dakota last year, the number was 12-million dollars according to campaign financial reports.  According to South Dakota Searchlight, that puts them in the category of some of the most expensive in state history.
