SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — South Dakota’s Prison Project Reset is about to spring into action. Governor Larry Rhoden appointed a Prison Reset task force after the legislature voted down funding and construction of a proposed new men’s prison in Lincoln County. The Task Force will tour the current Penitentiary and the adjoining Jameson Annex in Sioux Falls at its first meeting next Wednesday morning. It will then visit the site where construction was planned Wednesday afternoon.. Public testimony will be received at a hearing next Thursday.
