MINNEHAHA COUNTY, SD (KELO.com) — The Minnehaha County Commission took action this morning to issue a burn ban for rural parts of the county. Fire agencies have been called extinguish numerous grass fires this month as drought conditions grow worse. The burn ban will stay in effect until there’ significant rainfall, or improvement in the grass fire index. It does not include municipalities in the county.
