WASHINGTON, DC (KELO.com) — Senator Mike Rounds hopes the Trump Administration will be more responsive in efforts to reduce crime on reservations. The Senator says the Biden Administration didn’t respond to his calls for a Violent Crime Reduction Commission, which has support from tribal leaders. He says some tribes are experiencing violent crime rates that are five times the national average, something he says needs to change.
