Sex offender arrested for loitering near elementary school

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — A registered sex offender is accused of loitering near a Sioux Falls elementary school. Fifty-five-year-old Rodney Johnson was convicted in 2021 of possessing child porn. He was spotted driving slowly near Sonia Sotomayor Elementary School multiple times. He was arrested Monday and booked at the Minnehaha County Jail.
