PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — A former South Dakota state employee will stand trial next month on charges of allegedly stealing nearly two-million dollars. Lonna Carroll is accused of taking money from the Child Protective Services program of the Department of Social Services over a 12-year period. Her trial is scheduled to begin April first.
