A Senate Committee has concurred with a House resolution showing support for bringing Amtrak passenger rail service to South Dakota.

The Senate Transportation Committee unanimously concurred with the resolution, sending it to the Senate consent calendar for approval.
South Dakota and Wyoming are the only states in the lower 48 that do not have Amtrak passenger service.
