Legislative committee to consider resolution calling for Amtrak route in South Dakota

PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Amtrak service in South Dakota???  A South Dakota House committee will take up the idea Tuesday.  It will consider a resolution to show support for Amtrak to develop a route from Denver to the Twin Cities – going through Rapid city, Pierre and Sioux Falls.  South Dakota is currently the only state in the nation that doesn’t have any Amtrak Service.
