SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — The South Dakota Highway Patrol is about to expand in the Sioux Falls area. Governor Larry Rhoden made the announcement this afternoon at the city’s new public safety campus.
Financing for the new squad will have to be approved by the Legislature. Governor Rhoden says that won’t require anything from the state’s general fund, because it will be financed by the state highway trust fund.
