Success in business succession – the Austad story

SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO.com) — One of the most well-known families in Sioux Falls is telling its story of business succession.  Dave and Ryan Austad were the subjects of a webinar hosted by the Prairie Family Business Association, an outreach center of the USD Beacom School of Business.  This week’s death of Sioux Falls developer Craig Lloyd pointed out the importance of a good succession plan.  It turns out, Lloyd was involved with the association, and was a mentor to Dave Austad – providing a great example of how to keep successful family businesses successful.  Tom Rooney shares more of the Austad story from the webinar.
