CANTON, SD (KELO.com) — A former Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy faces up to five years in prison for stealing from his police union. 39-year old Mathew Wilson admitted to embezzling five-thousand dollars from the Lincoln County Fraternal Order of Police Union. The Attorney General’s office prosecuted the case. Attorney General Marty Jackley says Wilson will be sentenced in March.
