PIERRE, SD (KELO.com) — Legislators will see some behind-the-scenes changes when they return to Pierre for the legislative session. The Legislative Research Council team is working to upgrade technology. Chief I-T officer Elijah Rodriguez says the idea is to help legislators make the most of their time in Pierre and at home.
Rodriguez says there have also been updates in other areas.
LRC Staff and legislators are being tested monthly with phishing tests. In their last test, the failure rate for legislators was down to one percent, while LRC staff failed to avoid the phishing “scam” 12 percent of the time.
